Chanel to Debut Three Khaki Nail Polishes at Fashion's Night Out 2010

The first Fashion's Night Out was an evening that went down in nail polish history.

It was the night
Chanel Nail Vernis in Jade -- the minty green shade that, given its prominent positioning on the finger tips of just about every film star and fashionista, is in our minds the official nail color of Fall 2009 -- was first made available to the public.

This year,
Chanel is keeping with the FNO manicure, but this time it's courtesy of a trio of on-trend shades that global creative director Peter Philips created exclusively for the evening. In three different tones of khaki -- rose, brown, and green -- the Les Khakis de Chanel will be available for $25 per bottle in Chanel boutiques, on Chanel.com and in select department stores.

The shades are flatteringly flesh-tone to enhance every skin color, not to mention right in vein with the
greige tones that are topping our tip wish list for Fall. In fact, Marc Jacobs directed manicurists to paint models' fingers four different tones of beigy-gray at his Fall 2010 runway show.

Post Fashion's Night Out, we plan to do the same thing with these killer khakis.

In the meantime, check out the
Chanel Fall 2010 color collection.
